Frequently asked questions
How does the pulse measurement with the smartphone camera work?
You gently place your index finger on the camera and flash. The camera detects tiny colour changes in your fingertip with every heartbeat. The analysis runs entirely on your device – no video images are stored or transmitted.
Is the measurement medically accurate?
No. PulsePoster is not a medical device. The measurement is for artistic and decorative purposes only and does not replace a medical examination.
What do I get after ordering?
You receive your poster instantly by email as an A4 PDF (landscape) and a 10 × 15 cm JPG, together with your invoice. You can print and frame it yourself.
How long does delivery take and what does shipping cost?
Delivery is by email right after payment. There are no shipping costs.
Can I customise the design?
Yes. Choose between four colour schemes and four fonts, decide whether the heart appears in the middle, at the end or not at all, whether it looks sketchy or delicate, and whether your pulse sits in a rectangle or a heart shape. You set the names, date and message yourself.
How safe is my data?
We use no cookies, no tracking and load no third-party content. Your pulse value is only processed for your poster with your explicit consent. Payment is handled by Stripe.
Can I withdraw from my order?
For digital posters the right of withdrawal expires once we begin delivery with your express consent. Details are in the withdrawal notice.
